Data Engineer (Physical AI)

Location: Irving, Texas, Dallas area; onsite five days a week. Domestic relocation assistance is available.

Salary: $97,530–$158,480 per year.

What you will do

• Design, build, and optimize Python data pipelines and microservices for real-time and batch processing.
• Develop cloud-based data ingestion solutions with AWS services including Kinesis, S3, DynamoDB, and EventBridge.
• Build and maintain source-data integration workflows supporting construction autonomy.
• Translate business requirements into data workflows, mappings, and scalable system designs.
• Implement automated testing and validation to protect data integrity across distributed systems.
• Monitor and troubleshoot pipelines with tools such as CloudWatch.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of development experience with modern, large-scale data platforms and 3+ years deploying Java or Python solutions to production.
• Experience building high-throughput data pipelines, real-time ingestion microservices, and integrations with APIs, streaming platforms, and databases.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS data services, SQL, relational and NoSQL databases, and data-quality validation.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, or Jenkins.
• Ability to work full-time onsite at the Irving, Texas office. Visa sponsorship is available for eligible applicants.
