Senior Legal Counsel (CCH Tagetik)

Location: Bois-Colombes, Hauts-de-Seine, France; hybrid work with onsite attendance for meetings and conferences as needed

What you will do

• Provide legal support for structuring, drafting, negotiating, and managing complex, high-value software transactions.
• Draft and negotiate master services agreements, statements of work, partner, reseller, strategic alliance, vendor, and consulting agreements.
• Advise product, engineering, technology, and business leaders on the design, development, commercialization, and deployment of software, data, and AI-enabled products.
• Support AI initiatives, emerging AI regulation, and responsible AI frameworks across the business and legal organization.
• Develop forward-thinking legal solutions, improve processes, and align legal strategies with organizational objectives.
• Build relationships with business and legal leadership and monitor significant changes in the legal landscape.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of progressively responsible legal experience, ideally including internationally recognized law firm and global corporate legal department experience.
• Experience in the technology industry and a SaaS environment.
• Admission to practice law in the jurisdiction where the candidate resides.
• Native French and proficiency in written and spoken English required.
• Strong legal judgment, drafting, analytical, communication, and change management skills.
• Functional knowledge of AI technologies and experience applying AI tools to legal or compliance processes; willingness to travel when necessary.
