Senior Back End Engineer (Elixir)

Location: Hybrid in Paris, France; remote work is allowed for this position.

Salary: €55K–€83K per year

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable back-end services, APIs, and database schemas.
• Write clean, tested code, review contributions, and maintain unit and integration test coverage.
• Participate in architecture decisions, document technical choices, and contribute to CI/CD and developer experience.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to clarify priorities and user needs.
• Debug production issues, monitor performance, address security vulnerabilities, and resolve support requests within agreed SLAs.

Requirements

• Around 7 years of professional back-end development experience.
• Experience with a server-side language such as Elixir, Node, Ruby, Python, or a similar technology.
• Strong knowledge of SQL, NoSQL databases, REST APIs, and distributed services.
• Daily focus on testing, CI/CD, and software craftsmanship.
• Product-oriented thinking and a collaborative communication style.
• Clear communication in both French and English is required.

• Previous experience with Elixir.
