CAD Drafter

Location: Onsite, Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm; 40 hours per week expected

Compensation: $28/hour, non-exempt

hirify.global develops technical designs and fabrication documentation for project-based units and installations.

What you will do

• Report to the Head of Tech Design for task assignments and deadlines.
• Design technical solutions based on project parameters and technical briefs.
• Create 3D models, 2D construction drawings, CNC files, and closeout or installation documentation.
• Interpret design intent and develop accurate, efficient plans for fabrication departments.
• Work with Project Managers and the Director of Production to coordinate technical documentation.
• Improve drafting standards, CAD templates, block libraries, and related processes.

Requirements

• Experience creating 3D models and 2D construction drawings.
• Ability to interpret technical briefs and design intent.
• Ability to solve engineering challenges and translate solutions into construction plans.
• Ability to create and maintain CNC and drafting standards.
• Availability for onsite work Monday through Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm.
