Staff Solutions Engineer (AI)

Salary: $220K–$260K annually, plus equity and commission

What you will do

• Support field sales by explaining the value of hirify.global’s API and AI connectivity platform.
• Lead discovery conversations, product evaluations, proofs of concept, technical validation, and stakeholder alignment.
• Own technical strategy for complex, multi-stakeholder enterprise deals from qualification through close.
• Lead API management and AI governance evaluations, including LLM traffic management, model routing, semantic caching, prompt guardrails, and shadow AI detection.
• Deliver demonstrations and technical feasibility workshops for API, AI, and agentic architectures, including Model Context Protocol governance.
• Collaborate with support, product, and engineering teams, create technical documentation, mentor junior solutions engineers, and contribute to thought leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of software engineering and/or solutions engineering experience in SaaS, open source, or enterprise software.
• Experience owning complex enterprise deals with technical and executive stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring or coaching solutions engineers or technical team members.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, cloud-native platforms, REST and GraphQL APIs, CI/CD pipelines, and API security patterns including OAuth2, OIDC, and mTLS.
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development tools such as Claude Code, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI Codex, or an equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of AI/LLM architectures, MCP, agentic AI patterns, cloud computing trends, and open source business models.
