ESG Reporting and Assurance Specialist

What you will do

• Coordinate ESG data assurance engagements, including requests, deliverables, timelines, and collaboration with external assurance providers.
• Work with Sustainability, Finance, Accounting, Legal, Operations, Procurement, and Human Resources to support ESG reporting and disclosure requirements.
• Consolidate, validate, and maintain ESG and greenhouse gas emissions data, ensuring accuracy, completeness, consistency, and traceability.
• Prepare, review, and publish ESG disclosures, reporting deliverables, frameworks, and indices.
• Maintain ESG methodologies, calculations, policies, procedures, governance documentation, and supporting evidence.
• Improve ESG reporting controls, data management practices, reporting processes, and readiness initiatives, including CSRD, CDP, and EcoVadis submissions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in ESG or sustainability reporting, corporate responsibility, assurance, auditing, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating ESG data assurance engagements and collecting, validating, analysing, consolidating, and reporting sustainability data.
• Knowledge of GRI, SASB, ISSB, TCFD, and CSRD reporting requirements.
• Strong data management, analytical, project management, organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong written and verbal English, advanced Microsoft Excel skills, and experience with data management or reporting platforms.

Nice to have

• Professional certifications in ESG reporting, sustainability, assurance, auditing, or reporting frameworks.
• Experience in a multinational or publicly traded organization.
• Experience working with major audit firms.
