APAC Risk Specialist, ANZ (Fintech)

What you will do

• Act as the primary local point of contact for Enterprise Risk Management matters across the APAC region.
• Partner with stakeholders to address complex regional issues and balance risk with business objectives.
• Assess, monitor, escalate, and mitigate risks within the Enterprise Risk Management Framework.
• Communicate risk insights and recommendations to executive and senior leaders.
• Present risk assessment results to APAC Boards and other governance forums.
• Coordinate with teams across geographies and time zones, including occasional work or availability outside regular hours.

Requirements

• Proven experience with risk management practices, including risk and controls evaluation.
• Strong understanding of local risk management requirements across APAC jurisdictions.
• Effective prioritization and time management in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to build strong working relationships across organizational levels.
• Exceptional communication skills, attention to detail, ownership, and accountability.
• Creative problem-solving aligned with business objectives.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of merchant acquiring services.
• Experience preparing and delivering executive-level reports.
• Familiarity with local regulatory risk management requirements.
