Junior Fraud Analyst (iGaming)

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Melbourne office, Australia; extended hours and weekend roster required.

What you will do

• Work fraud alert, account review, transaction verification, and documentation queues according to defined service levels and screening criteria.
• Escalate suspicious behaviour and policy violations through established procedures.
• Maintain accurate case notes, audit trails, shift handovers, and documentation of anomalies and emerging issues.
• Build chargeback and payment dispute evidence packs and resolve fraud-related stakeholder escalations.
• Identify patterns across accounts and cases, and support live fraud incidents and post-incident reviews.
• Surface procedural gaps and recurring false positives to help improve fraud prevention processes.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience in fraud, payments, KYC, or a comparable operational role.
• Availability for extended hours on a published roster, including weekend rotations.
• Strong numerical and data literacy, with confidence using spreadsheets and operational dashboards.
• High attention to detail while handling high-volume queues.
• Clear, concise written communication and discretion with sensitive customer and financial information.

Nice to have

• Experience with iGaming and AML.
• Experience working with large datasets.
• Understanding of SQL queries.
