AML Compliance Analyst

What you will do

• Review and onboard customers manually.
• Perform customer due diligence, including enhanced and ongoing due diligence, PEP, sanctions, and adverse media reviews.
• Conduct transaction monitoring, payment method verification, and source-of-wealth and source-of-funds checks.
• Screen customers for potential financial crime risks and escalate concerns appropriately.
• Help update AML procedures and prepare periodic compliance reports for senior management, the Risk & Compliance Committee, and the Board.
• Stay current with AML/CTF laws, regulations, and best practices.

Requirements

• Degree in Commerce, Finance, or Economics.
• Interest in and knowledge of AML/CTF laws and regulations.
• Strong data analysis and analytical report-writing skills.
• Strong stakeholder management, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively while escalating challenges promptly.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
