Associate, Strategic Initiatives & Balance Sheet Optimization, Corporate Banking

Location: New York, NY — 300 Madison Ave, Floor 8. Candidates must be legally eligible to work at the specified location and may need a valid work or study permit.

Salary: $150,000–$185,000 annually, based on experience, qualifications, and location. Incentive compensation and a discretionary bonus may also apply.

What you will do

• Support strategic initiatives across Corporate Banking, including transformation, operating model improvements, productivity, automation, growth, and business development.
• Coordinate initiatives from concept through implementation, tracking stakeholders, milestones, dependencies, risks, and deliverables.
• Support balance sheet and credit portfolio optimization through loan distribution, forward flow, risk-sharing, secondary loan sales, risk transfer, and investor partnership initiatives.
• Perform financial, portfolio, and strategic analysis; build dashboards, management reports, financial models, business cases, and executive materials.
• Coordinate work across Treasury, Finance, Risk, Legal, Operations, and Technology, supporting working groups, steering committees, and executive forums.

Requirements

• 2–5 years of experience in Corporate Banking, Investment Banking, Treasury, Capital Markets, Strategy, Management Consulting, or Corporate Finance.
• Experience in corporate lending, portfolio management, or capital markets.
• Degree or diploma in Business, Commerce, Economics, Finance, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, prioritization, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, with experience in financial analysis, data analytics, financial modeling, AI, or business intelligence tools.
• Legal eligibility to work in the New York, NY location is required; a valid work or study permit may be required.
