Cybersecurity Lead (TS/SCI)

Location: Los Angeles, California, USA; in-person collaboration at the Playa Vista office.

What you will do

• Lead SOC analysts and engineers, including hiring, training, performance management, and professional development.
• Oversee 24/7 security monitoring and incident response across triage, escalation, containment, eradication, and post-incident analysis.
• Conduct threat hunting, malware analysis, and deep-dive investigations into escalated incidents.
• Manage and optimize SIEM, IDS/IPS, endpoint security, vulnerability management, and related security tools.
• Develop SOC metrics, dashboards, executive reporting, policies, procedures, playbooks, and automation.
• Support security strategy, risk assessments, audits, tabletop exercises, CMMC, ISO 27001, and other accreditations.

Requirements

• TS/SCI security clearance is required.
• 5–10 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, including 2–3 years in a leadership role.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR/XDR, IDS/IPS, CASB/SASE, Nessus, Burp Suite, firewalls, and scripting with Python or PowerShell.
• Strong understanding of networking protocols and Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team leadership skills in high-pressure environments.
• ITAR eligibility is required: applicants must qualify as a U.S. Person or be able to obtain the required U.S. export authorizations.

Nice to have

• CISSP, CISM, GIAC GCIH, or CompTIA Security+ certification.
