AI-First Social Content Producer

Location: Fully remote from anywhere in South Africa. Working hours are 9:00am–5:30pm GMT.

Salary: Up to ZAR 420,000 on a full-time, permanent employment contract.

What you will do

• Take social content from ideation through delivery, coordinating briefs, feedback, people, dependencies, and deadlines.
• Study shows, characters, humour, fan communities, memes, trends, and platform conversations to develop relevant social concepts and recurring formats.
• Write practical briefs for editors and designers, including references, source moments, formats, specifications, and deliverables.
• Coordinate production priorities, footage, assets, approvals, calendars, and project records while identifying risks early.
• Present ideas to clients, explain creative choices, manage feedback, and maintain clear day-to-day communication.
• Use AI agents and creative tools to delegate substantial work, validate outputs, create simple assets, review finished content, and improve reusable production workflows.

Requirements

• Strong creative instincts grounded in social culture, including hooks, humour, storytelling, and platform behaviour.
• Reliable production or project coordination skills with the ability to organise moving parts, prioritise work, and follow through.
• Confident written and verbal communication for pitching ideas, writing briefs, giving feedback, and handling client conversations.
• Demonstrated experience using AI tools and agents to complete substantial work, including directing, reviewing, and refining outputs.
• Sound judgment, attention to detail, ownership, and the ability to learn creative tools and maintain organised trackers, asset libraries, and calendars.
• Availability to work 9:00am–5:30pm GMT from South Africa.

Nice to have

• Experience creating content through employment, personal projects, studies, volunteering, or a personal account.
• Experience editing, designing, making simple assets, or developing rough visual concepts.
