Data Research Analyst (French Speaker)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with in-office collaboration each week, typically four days in the office

Base salary: EUR 29,000–39,000 annually; 5% annual bonus target

What you will do

• Process, collect, and maintain investment data across global markets while ensuring accuracy, completeness, coverage, and timeliness.
• Collaborate with global data teams, local business representatives, internal clients, and cross-functional partners.
• Manage relationships with fund companies and data providers, establish acquisition channels, and handle escalations.
• Track production deadlines and take ownership of data issues through investigation, follow-up, and resolution.
• Evaluate procedures, improve analytical tools, and implement process improvement projects using methodologies such as Lean Six Sigma.
• Translate internal client requests into written specifications and user stories, and document client use cases for new functionality.

Requirements

• Fluency in English and French is mandatory.
• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.
• Strong oral and written communication, organization, and time-management skills.
• Understanding of the financial industry and investment data.
• Ability to manage high volumes of data, meet strict deadlines, and collaborate with diverse cross-functional teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Nice to have

• Fluency in another European language, such as German, Danish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.
• Experience with data methodology, data quality, and operational data processes.
• Previous project management experience.
