Full Stack Developer (Node.js+React)

Location: Worldwide; fully remote, office-based, or hybrid work options are available.

Salary: EUR 3900–6200 gross per month, depending on experience, location, and professional growth.

What you will do

• Develop and evolve Node.js and TypeScript microservices across a mature AWS-based SaaS platform.
• Design GraphQL aggregation and BFF-style composition over REST microservices, including sorting, filtering, and search.
• Build Kafka-based event-driven workflows with producers, consumers, delivery guarantees, retries, dead-letter queues, and transactional outbox patterns.
• Develop frontend features with React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and Apollo.
• Build and modernize public APIs with JWT authorization, pre-signed URLs, third-party integrations, and Node.js upgrades.
• Test delivered functionality and participate in pull request reviews before production releases.

Requirements

• 6+ years of production backend development experience with Node.js, TypeScript, and microservice architectures.
• Strong practical understanding of distributed systems, consistency, asynchronous workflows, failure handling, retries, idempotency, event ordering, and concurrent updates.
• Hands-on experience with transactional outbox, consumer groups, fan-out, idempotent consumers, partition-key ordering, optimistic locking, BFF or aggregation layers, and dead-letter queues.
• Production experience with Kafka or equivalent event-streaming technologies, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, and AWS services including Lambda, SQS, DynamoDB, S3, and ECS.
• Familiarity with Saga and CQRS patterns.
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above.

Nice to have

• AI-assisted development practices, particularly Claude Code, including skills, hooks, MCP, and disciplined code review.
• Experience with JWT authorization models, S3 pre-signed URLs, Koa, and Serverless Framework.
• Ability to read and understand PHP for occasional work with legacy systems.
