Claims Adjuster (Temporary) (Insurance)

What you will do

• Handle claims from initial investigation through conclusion, including liability determination, coverage confirmation, damage assessment, and claim evaluation.
• Gather claim data, documentation, and relevant facts to support decisions and resolution.
• Maintain accurate claim files and records in litigation management and claims management systems.
• Review investigations, liability assessments, reserves, expert witness evaluations, recent developments, and resolution plans.
• Manage salvage, subrogation, recovery, and fraud investigation activities, including coordination with coinsurers and reinsurers.
• Collaborate with internal departments and external customers while resolving claims in line with company policies, statutes, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Experience or capability in managing insurance claims from investigation through settlement.
• Ability to assess liability, coverage, damages, reserves, and claim documentation.
• Ability to investigate fraud and manage salvage, subrogation, or other recovery proceedings.
• Ability to use claims management and litigation management information systems.
• Ability to work primarily from the Madrid office.
