Payments Specialist (Fintech)

What you will do

• Coordinate with external vendors to process net and statutory payments accurately and on time.
• Request funds from clients promptly and manage follow-up to ensure payment requirements are met.
• Prepare and review reconciliation reports for client accounting departments.
• Maintain process documentation and ensure new payee bank details are set up correctly.
• Support the implementation of new customers and handle additional payment operations duties.

Requirements

• Strong customer service and communication skills across clients, payroll partners, payment providers, and internal colleagues.
• Ability to resolve issues, respond to queries, and communicate proactively with stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, analytical thinking, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to manage workloads independently, collaborate effectively, and adapt to new processes.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, and internet-based software.

Nice to have

• Working knowledge of payroll.
• Experience in treasury.
