Improvement Project Manager (Manufacturing)

Location: Brno, Czechia; hybrid arrangement with an option to work from home.

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of strategic improvement and investment projects for a medium switchgear manufacturing unit.
• Lead initiatives involving automation, new technologies, layout redesigns, MES implementation, and new manufacturing processes.
• Drive projects through the full cycle, from initial idea and feasibility study through procurement, implementation, and ramp-up.
• Set project direction, build cross-functional teams, and coordinate engineering, organizational, and communication activities.
• Resolve project obstacles and deliver measurable improvements to manufacturing operations.

Requirements

• Experience managing complex projects in manufacturing, automation, or technical environments.
• Ability to independently drive projects from initiation to completion.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, analytical, and organizational skills.
• English required for project communication and fluent Czech required.
• Systematic thinking, initiative, and practical problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of manufacturing systems, Lean, Six Sigma, or agile management.
