Lead Data Engineer (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Design and deliver complex data pipelines and scalable data models.
• Guide technical direction across data engineering projects.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to turn business needs into impactful data solutions.
• Develop the data platform, including AI/ML-ready architecture.
• Establish best practices for data governance, quality, and security.
• Mentor and support the growth of the data engineering team.

Requirements

• Proven experience as a Senior or Lead Data Engineer in complex environments.
• Hands-on expertise with modern data engineering tools across cloud platforms.
• Strong understanding of ETL/ELT, data architecture, and data quality frameworks.
• Strong stakeholder engagement skills and the ability to shape solutions from ambiguity.
• Curiosity and a passion for turning data into meaningful business value.

Nice to have

• Experience with AWS Redshift, dbt, and Databricks.
• Experience with AI/ML tooling, data preparation, orchestration, and cataloguing.
• Interest in mentoring and helping others grow.
