Commercial Lending Professional (CRE)

Location: Hybrid role based at hirify.global's office at 445 Park Avenue, New York, NY; telecommuting may be permitted a few days per week. Working hours are Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Salary: $200,000–$300,000 per year.

What you will do

• Originate, structure, and execute commercial lending transactions, primarily for commercial real estate and mid-market corporate borrowers.
• Perform financial analysis, credit underwriting, cash flow assessment, and collateral performance evaluation.
• Structure loan facilities by determining pricing, covenants, security packages, and repayment terms.
• Prepare and present credit memoranda to internal credit committees.
• Manage transactions through origination, underwriting, approval, documentation, closing, and portfolio monitoring.
• Develop relationships with borrowers, sponsors, developers, and financial intermediaries while identifying new lending, refinancing, and follow-on opportunities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in mathematics, finance, or a related quantitative field.
• At least 5 years of experience in commercial real estate lending or commercial lending, including structured finance.
• Experience independently leading and executing lending transactions with limited supervision in a high-volume environment.
• Financial modeling and credit analysis experience, including analysis of financial statements and cash flow projections using Microsoft Excel.
• Experience preparing credit memoranda, structuring loan facilities, assessing credit risk, and managing transactions through closing.
• Must report to the hirify.global office in New York, NY when not telecommuting.
