Junior Network Engineer

Location: Hybrid in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania

Salary: From €2,980 gross per month, depending on experience and skills.

What you will do

• Help maintain and grow a global network of nearly 1,000 devices across worldwide data centers.
• Learn and support BGP routing, peering, transit services, and Internet Exchange Points.
• Automate routine network operations and maintain network information using Python, Ansible, and NetBox.
• Support IP address management, capacity tracking, monitoring, and network observability with Prometheus, Grafana, and sFlow.
• Investigate packet loss, routing and performance issues, and contribute to DDoS protection and network security improvements.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, hardware, security, monitoring, and product teams while improving documentation and runbooks.

Requirements

• Basic Linux and networking knowledge.
• Strong willingness to learn, ask questions, and investigate root causes.
• Collaborative mindset and ability to take ownership of tasks.
• Preference for automation over repetitive manual work.
• Willingness to participate in a weekly 24/7 on-call rotation after onboarding.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup in Kaunas or Vilnius, Lithuania.
