System Administrator (Mid-Senior)

Location: Vilnius, Lithuania; Workplace: Hybrid

Gross salary: €3,000–€6,300 per month, with flexibility based on skills and experience.

What you will do

• Configure, automate, and test private-cloud and remotely hosted infrastructure.
• Scale infrastructure systems and improve their reliability.
• Set up monitoring, auditing, and alerting for infrastructure systems.
• Maintain secure, compliant, and up-to-date systems with current patches and protocols.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues and outages.
• Evaluate current infrastructure developments and available tooling.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of Linux-based systems and servers.
• Hands-on experience with automation and configuration management tools such as Ansible or SaltStack.
• Experience with container systems such as Kubernetes or Docker.
• Familiarity with databases, especially MySQL and Redis-like key-value databases.
• Experience with Linux, SQL, ClickHouse, Kafka, Docker, Elastic/Grafana, and Ansible.
• Ability to prioritize and focus on high-impact work.

Nice to have

• Basic experience with Python, Bash, Go, or other scripting languages for custom automation.
• Experience with Kafka or Redpanda, RabbitMQ, or HAProxy.
