Materials Controller (Manufacturing)

Location: Northgate, Queensland, Australia; onsite manufacturing role

What you will do

• Complete accurate daily production reporting and maintain end-to-end batch and lot traceability.
• Support production teams with recording output and material usage, practical troubleshooting, and system training.
• Reconcile production, material consumption, and inventory movements to ensure system records match shop-floor activity.
• Prepare variance reports, investigate root causes, and recommend corrective actions to site leaders.
• Improve material issuing, reporting, BOM and recipe accuracy, and related continuous improvement processes.
• Perform cycle counts and manage quarantined stock, returns, nonconformances, write-offs, and required system adjustments.

Requirements

• Experience in inventory management within a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with accurate and timely production reporting.
• Advanced data analysis and computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access.
• Strong attention to detail and confidence with data, reconciliations, and process compliance.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work with production teams and site stakeholders.
• Eligible to work in Australia with full working rights.
