Sr. Data Engineer (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States for candidates residing in the Seattle, WA or Los Angeles, CA metropolitan areas; quarterly travel to the downtown Los Angeles office is required.

Base salary: $143,065–$241,598 per year, plus potential annual incentive and long-term incentives.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable, reliable software solutions and contribute to architecture discussions.
• Develop maintainable features and optimize code for performance and scalability.
• Debug complex issues and use AI-assisted engineering tools to improve delivery and code quality.
• Write automated unit and integration tests and support reliable, repeatable releases.
• Participate in code reviews, sprint planning, estimation, and user documentation.
• Collaborate with QA, Product Management, DevOps, and other cross-functional teams on end-to-end delivery.

Requirements

• 3+ years of production software engineering experience.
• Experience with C#, JavaScript, Python, SQL, software design patterns, algorithms, and computer science fundamentals.
• Experience across web, Windows Desktop, cloud, and IoT software stacks.
• Experience with REST and GraphQL APIs and AWS services including Lambda, S3, and API Gateway.
• Professional experience with AI-assisted development tools, Git, automated testing, CI/CD, and Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience; fluency in written and spoken English and willingness to travel are required.
