AI Engineering Lab Facilitator

Location: Fully remote, with sessions aligned with CET.

What you will do

• Review participant project cards, assess scope, and prepare materials for each Lab session.
• Support participants as they design, configure, and test AI-assisted development workflows.
• Read unfamiliar repositories and provide actionable guidance across backend, frontend, ETL, testing, and model-related components.
• Debug agent state, routing, and behaviour under time pressure.
• Guide the configuration of AI code review, repository instructions, agent governance, automation boundaries, retry limits, and human-in-the-loop controls.
• Run engaging online sessions and keep multiple participant projects progressing.

Requirements

• Production experience integrating AI tooling and LLM APIs into repositories, engineering workflows, or CI pipelines, including cost, latency, retries, and failure modes.
• Hands-on experience with AI code review, repository-level configuration, agent instructions, AI governance files, multi-agent systems, tracing, and evaluation.
• Strong software engineering background with familiarity across backend, frontend, ETL, testing, and model-related components.
• Experience with coding agents such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex; CI platforms, especially GitHub Actions; Playwright; LangGraph; and LangSmith.
• Experience defining automation boundaries, human-in-the-loop gates, safe retry behaviour, and stress tests using incorrect inputs, pull requests, or edge cases.
• Ability to facilitate the Labs in Russian and availability for the mid-October launch and October–November delivery schedule.

Nice to have

• Organisation-wide rollout of AI coding tools or experience with automated and self-healing test suites.
• Background as a Staff or Senior Software Engineer, AI Platform Engineer, QA Automation Architect, SDET Lead, Applied AI Engineer, or Forward-Deployed Engineer.
• Experience teaching or facilitating engineers in a live online environment.
• Experience working with unfamiliar repositories, technology stacks, or QA-oriented AI use cases.
