Data Analyst - Enterprise Technology & Data Governance Process (Hybrid)

What you will do

• Establish data-quality rules, measures, thresholds, and exception-management processes.
• Define data ownership and stewardship responsibilities for configuration-item data.
• Investigate root causes of poor data, including process gaps, unclear ownership, integrations, manual entry, and inadequate controls.
• Create data definitions, mappings, process flows, RACI models, quality rules, control evidence, and operating procedures.
• Use SQL and reporting tools to profile data, investigate exceptions, measure quality trends, and demonstrate improvement.
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions and support enterprise-tool data cleanup and process improvement.

Requirements

• Experience with data quality, data governance, operational process improvement, ITSM, CMDB, or comparable enterprise-system environments.
• Ability to analyze data with SQL and translate findings into actionable remediation plans.
• Experience gathering requirements and documenting processes, standards, workflows, or technical and business rules.
• Strong stakeholder-management and facilitation skills across technical and non-technical teams.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or similar documentation and project-management tools.

Nice to have

• CMDB or ITSM platform experience.
• Data-governance or service-management certifications.
• Automation, scripting, dashboarding, or data-pipeline experience.
• Experience with AI.
