AI Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Understand factory operations, manufacturing processes, data availability, and improvement opportunities.
• Design, develop, deploy, monitor, and maintain AI, machine learning, generative AI, and intelligent automation solutions.
• Build, train, fine-tune, evaluate, and optimize models for performance, scalability, reliability, and accuracy.
• Develop agentic AI solutions, AI assistants, and multi-agent systems to improve operational efficiency and decision-making.
• Analyze complex datasets and identify data extraction, transformation, and delivery improvements that support business KPIs.
• Collaborate with process engineers, data architects, analytics experts, and data modeling teams across hirify.global sites.

Requirements

• Graduate engineering degree, preferably in electronics or computer science.
• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in data analytics and data science.
• Experience developing and deploying machine learning models, including deep learning with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras.
• Advanced Python and SQL skills, with experience in PySpark, REST APIs, microservices, Git, and software design patterns.
• Experience with large language models, prompt engineering, retrieval-augmented generation, agentic AI frameworks, vector databases, LLMOps, and AI governance.
• Strong analytical, problem-scoping, data engineering, stakeholder communication, and structured problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with supply chain management, factory scheduling, big data lake architectures, or large IT project implementation.
• Knowledge of Power BI or Tableau and strong data storytelling skills.
• Experience with message queuing, stream processing, scalable big data stores, and manufacturing or similar industries.
