Compliance Project Officer (Licensing)

Location: Full-time onsite role at the Melbourne office, Australia

What you will do

• Own project plans for licence applications, including timelines, dependencies and stakeholder sign-off.
• Maintain a central register of licence applications, renewals and reporting obligations across jurisdictions.
• Coordinate meetings and follow-up actions with regulators, legal counsel and industry advisors.
• Monitor global regulatory developments and maintain a structured repository for impact assessment.
• Coordinate Legal, Operations and Finance activities to align compliance initiatives with business timelines.
• Prepare compliance documentation, status reports and dashboards for the Head of Compliance.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience in project coordination, programme support, compliance or a regulated environment.
• Experience managing concurrent workstreams, competing deadlines and cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience managing licensing applications and regulator interactions across multiple jurisdictions.
• Strong understanding of international gaming regulations and market-entry requirements.
• Business-related degree and strong project management, organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience with JIRA, Confluence, GRC platforms and AI for project management and communication.

Nice to have

• Legal qualifications or a background in law.
