Compliance Manager (Insurance)

Location: Sydney or Melbourne, Australia; hybrid role with at least three days per week in the office or onsite with clients

What you will do

• Provide compliance advisory support across insurance broking, investments, and other regulatory matters.
• Develop and improve compliance frameworks, policies, and processes.
• Maintain the compliance obligations library and support Line 2 obligations management.
• Establish monitoring activities to assess compliance and identify control improvements.
• Manage financial services licences and authorisations for Marsh Pacific entities.
• Support conflicts management, compliance plan reviews, training, and guidance for Line 1 stakeholders.

Requirements

• Experience in a compliance, legal, or regulatory role, ideally in the Australian financial services industry.
• Experience in insurance broking or insurance; exposure to investments is beneficial.
• Ability to interpret and apply regulatory requirements practically.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to provide practical and strategic advice to senior stakeholders and Board audiences.
• Appropriate approval to work in Australia is required.
