Sr. Staff Product Manager (Photonics)

Location: Boston, MA or Mountain View, CA, United States; flexible hybrid workplace model

Salary: $214,000–$286,000 USD per year, plus equity and other rewards

What you will do

• Define market and product requirements, SKU strategy, and commercial positioning for silicon photonics products, including the Passage interconnect platform, evaluation systems, and demonstration vehicles.
• Build strategic partnerships for lasers, fibers, connectors, and other optical hardware components.
• Lead product rollouts and manage the complete lifecycle from early development through volume production and end-of-life.
• Partner with sales to win semiconductor and cloud accounts through customer proposals, technical collateral, and ROI frameworks.
• Establish pricing guidelines, margin models, and revenue forecasts.
• Coordinate with engineering, sales, operations, finance, and executive stakeholders to accelerate product adoption and delivery.

Requirements

• 10+ years of related experience, including 6+ years in product management, marketing, applications engineering, or business development for complex semiconductor products.
• Detailed market and technical knowledge of silicon photonics and related optical technologies.
• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering or a related engineering field.
• Experience taking products from business definition and design-in through volume production and end-of-life.
• End-to-end knowledge of semiconductor chip design and manufacturing, plus experience with data center-deployed optical technology.
• Ability to analyze complex datasets, use financial metrics, and align multidisciplinary teams to drive profitable decisions and delivery.
