Lead Digital Designer

Location: Miami, Florida, United States; hybrid collaboration with teams coming into the office 10+ days per month

What you will do

• Lead the design of high-impact web experiences, including homepage, product pages, and key user journeys.
• Build and evolve scalable design systems with tokens, components, and reusable CMS modules.
• Define site architecture, navigation systems, and user experience frameworks.
• Partner with engineering, product, marketing, UX, brand teams, and external agencies to deliver production-ready designs.
• Balance brand storytelling with usability, accessibility, responsive behavior, and performance.
• Support UX testing, A/B testing, and workflows that improve web quality, speed, and consistency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of experience in web or digital product design.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating high-quality web design, systems thinking, typography, layout, color, and hierarchy.
• Experience with design systems, component libraries, scalable frameworks, and front-end constraints.
• Deep understanding of responsive design, UX principles, modern web standards, and complex multi-page websites or platforms.
• Ability to communicate design decisions, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and work through ambiguity.
• Experience collaborating with engineering teams and contributing to large-scale website redesigns.

Nice to have

• Experience in fintech, B2B, or complex product ecosystems.
• Familiarity with Storybook, design tokens, and system-driven development.
• Experience with CRO, A/B testing, motion design, interaction design, or advanced web storytelling.
• Interest in AI tools for design workflows.
• Experience collaborating with or managing external agencies and partners.
