Senior Benefits Program Manager

Location: Dallas, Texas, United States

Salary: $118,500–$177,500 base salary per year, plus bonus, equity, and benefits.

What you will do

• Administer health, welfare, and 401(k) plans and resolve complex claims, eligibility, and plan interpretation issues.
• Lead the annual open enrollment process, including plan changes, carrier negotiations, system configuration, communications, and reconciliation.
• Manage compliance across ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, nondiscrimination testing, Form 5500 filings, and plan disclosures.
• Manage insurance carriers, third-party administrators, and 401(k) recordkeeper relationships, including evaluations and renewals.
• Reconcile benefit invoices, analyze utilization and plan performance, and prepare employee education and budgeting communications.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree.
• 8+ years of progressive employee benefits administration experience.
• Experience leading annual benefits open enrollment from strategy through post-enrollment execution.
• Hands-on experience with ERISA, ACA, COBRA, HIPAA, Section 125, Form 5500 filings, nondiscrimination testing, and 401(k) requirements.
• Experience using HRIS and benefits administration platforms.
• Must not require employer-sponsored work authorization now or in the future for employment in the United States.

Nice to have

• Experience independently leading plan implementations, carrier transitions, and process improvement initiatives.
• Experience with invoice reconciliation and financial reporting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills for explaining complex benefits concepts.
• Discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential employee data.
