Data Coordinator I (Clinical Data Management)

Location: Remote within Costa Rica

Develops regulated technology platforms supporting clinical trials, diagnostics, and medical decision-making in controlled regulatory environments.

What you will do

• Review and investigate data correction requests and discrepancies in accordance with established SOPs and work instructions.
• Process source data, resolutions, and revisions accurately across operational systems.
• Prioritize assigned work and meet established turnaround times and departmental performance goals.
• Maintain study documentation throughout the study lifecycle, including source-document filing and closed-study archiving.
• Support data reconciliation by completing database updates within sponsor-requested timelines.
• Collaborate with global Data Coordination and Data Management colleagues in study meetings and data-quality discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or a related field preferred, or at least one year of related experience.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and investigate discrepancies.
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills for managing multiple tasks accurately.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaboration across global teams.
• Computer proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, plus proficient data-entry and typing skills.
• Proactive approach to learning, problem-solving, and continuous process improvement.
