What you will do
- Execute master data operations, including data entry, validation, transformation, quality checks, and consistency management across systems.
- Prepare and maintain operational metrics, dashboards, and reports to monitor performance and data quality.
- Resolve routine data and process issues, document outcomes, and follow internal controls and standardized procedures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to support data-driven business requirements and service delivery.
- Contribute to master data process, system, tool, and automation improvements.
- Apply data governance policies and identify discrepancies or operational inefficiencies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
- 0–2 years of professional experience in data management, operations, or a related area.
- Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, communication, prioritization, and deadline-management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with enterprise systems.
- Fluent Japanese and business-level English required.
- Hybrid position based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, Japan; minimal travel of 0–10% may be required.
Nice to have
- Experience with master data management, data governance, ERP systems such as SAP, or shared services operations.
- Experience with automation tools, data extraction and reporting, compliance, audits, or data quality standards.
- Data management, Lean, or Six Sigma certification.
- Continuous improvement experience and the ability to implement process enhancements.
