Line Lead (Packaging)

Location: Brampton, Ontario, Canada; onsite work in a factory or warehouse setting, including possible work at a customer location

Salary: $22 CAD per hour

What you will do

• Supervise and train general labour personnel in the assembly of displays and packaging.
• Coordinate line workers, materials, equipment operation, and production documentation.
• Monitor and improve production efficiency while maintaining product quality.
• Reconcile feeder stock and components at the end of each shift and report discrepancies.
• Communicate quality issues to inspectors and maintain open communication across the production line.
• Follow food safety, HACCP, GMP, and workplace safety requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proficient English reading, writing, and speaking skills required.
• Basic understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to read production specifications and work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to build strong teams and maintain a high level of trust and integrity.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and stand, stoop, walk, and lift for extended periods.

Nice to have

• Previous experience with packaging equipment.
• One to two years of pharmaceutical, food, or cosmetic packaging and machine operating experience.
• Experience with WMS software, Microsoft Office, or SAP.
