Vehicle Electrical Test Engineer (Automotive)

What you will do

• Maintain, update, and document test benches and test vehicles.
• Adapt, commission, and use Vector CANoe simulations for test benches.
• Test vehicle interconnection and electrical/electronic systems.
• Execute software update tests on control units and conduct bench and vehicle tests.
• Measure quiescent current, electrical current, and voltage using vehicle instrumentation.
• Troubleshoot vehicle and test-bench hardware and software, evaluate measurement data, and document identified faults.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Automotive Mechanics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
• More than one year of experience in the automotive industry.
• Experience diagnosing electrical faults in vehicles.
• Knowledge of CANBUS, ECU control units, and CANoe.
• Advanced English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of CANalyzer.
• German language skills.
