Principal Streaming Technology Expert

What you will do

• Investigate complex technical questions involving streaming products, architectures, protocols, standards, and implementations.
• Conduct technical risk analysis and support due diligence for technologies, third-party solutions, products, and architectural decisions.
• Research streaming technologies, industry practices, publications, open-source components, and commercial solutions.
• Maintain documentation covering architectures, protocols, data flows, algorithms, DRM, CDNs, and media pipelines.
• Prepare technical reports, diagrams, comparisons, implementation analyses, and historical architecture records.
• Provide independent technical judgment and explain complex streaming topics to technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• Deep hands-on knowledge of video and audio streaming architectures, protocols, codecs, CDNs, and related technologies.
• Ability to independently analyze complex technical systems, standards, implementations, and architectures.
• Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex technical topics to non-technical audiences.
• Native or near-native English proficiency required.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex technical reviews involving US-based stakeholders.
• Experience preparing technical materials for external review or formal assessment.
