Design Assistant, VIP (Fashion)

Location: New York, New York, USA; hybrid work arrangement

Base pay range: $66,300–$70,000 per year

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of bespoke Coach and Coachtopia creations for industry events, talent appearances, and editorial opportunities.
• Coordinate fittings, garment logistics, sample management, and event preparation.
• Track VIP dressing projects and maintain high standards of quality, organization, and execution.
• Partner with Design, Product Development, Atelier, Production, Merchandising, and PR teams.
• Build positive working relationships with talent teams and industry partners.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience in fashion design, styling, VIP relations, product development, or a related field.
• Strong organizational, communication, and project management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Knowledge of garment construction, fit, and luxury fashion standards.
• Ability to hand sketch.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.

Nice to have

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.
• Experience coordinating fittings, sample management, garment logistics, and cross-functional partnerships.
• Passion for fashion, culture, celebrity dressing, and talent experiences.
