Senior Frontend Engineer (AI)

Location: Mexico; remote

Salary: MX$75K–MX$95K per month plus equity

What you will do

• Build and maintain Vue/Nuxt frontend applications for ticketing, point-of-sale, and back-office configuration.
• Develop shared SDKs, component libraries, design-system tooling, and boilerplate for frontend teams.
• Set up agent-assisted development workflows and critically review AI-generated changes before merging.
• Collaborate with Product and Design to clarify requirements, identify specification gaps, and challenge incomplete work.
• Improve code quality through reviews, testing, accessibility, performance, and coverage standards.
• Own frontend delivery tooling, CI/CD, containerized deployments, and related infrastructure.

Requirements

• 5+ years of frontend development experience, including 2+ years with Vue and TypeScript.
• Strong Vue 3 fundamentals, with some Vue 2 experience, plus Nuxt or similar frameworks and Vite.
• Experience with component architecture, Pinia or Vuex, accessibility, REST APIs, shared SDKs, and form validation.
• Experience with testing using Vitest or Vue Test Utils, code review, CI/CD, GitLab CI, Docker, and performance-focused system design.
• Daily hands-on use of AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, Codex, or equivalent is required.
• Clear communication, constructive collaboration, ownership, mentoring, and comfort working with ambiguous requirements.

Nice to have

• Cloud infrastructure ownership and frontend observability or monitoring experience.
• Experience publishing and versioning internal npm packages.
• Experience with shared component libraries, design systems, or frontend boilerplate.
• B2B or point-of-sale experience in the attractions or venue industry.
• Interest in multi-agent workflows and human-in-the-loop review.
