Manager - Fund Accounting - Private Markets

What you will do

• Lead and manage a team of fund accountants in a collaborative, high-performance environment.
• Oversee end-to-end fund accounting for private markets clients, including daily, weekly, and monthly NAV calculations, financial statements, and regulatory reporting.
• Review complex accounting entries, reconciliations, and financial statements while ensuring compliance with IFRS, US GAAP, and UK GAAP.
• Manage client deliverables, onboarding, and transitions while coordinating with internal teams across multiple jurisdictions.
• Act as a primary daily client contact, prepare meeting materials, and support ongoing client relationships.
• Coordinate external audits and third-party reporting and contribute to client service plans, calendars, and timelines.

Requirements

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, general ledgers, and financial statements within private markets.
• Experience managing or supervising people, including coaching and training direct reports.
• Knowledge of US GAAP, UK GAAP, and IFRS.
• Strong client service, communication, organizational, multitasking, problem-solving, and deadline-management skills.
• Proficiency with fund accounting software such as Geneva, Advent, or Multifonds, and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Nearly or fully qualified professional accountant with ACCA, ACA, CIMA, CPA, CA, or similar qualification, plus a university degree in accounting or business.
