Senior Analyst, Derivatives

Location: Limerick, Ireland. Applicants must have the right to work in Ireland at the time of application and throughout employment.

Financial services organization providing wealth management, asset servicing, asset management, and banking services to institutional and private clients.

What you will do

• Capture, process, and account for OTC derivative transactions at each valuation point.
• Monitor lifecycle events including resets, settlements, close-outs, corporate actions, and dividend events.
• Investigate operational exceptions, discrepancies, valuation issues, and derivative-related queries.
• Complete controls, maintain accurate documentation, and escalate operational risks and control issues.
• Support client and stakeholder queries, onboarding of clients, funds, and OTC derivative products.
• Participate in process improvement, automation, workflow enhancements, projects, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.

Requirements

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Experience or knowledge in fund accounting, fund administration, derivatives operations, investment operations, middle office, or related financial services.
• Knowledge of OTC derivatives and lifecycle events, including swaps, forwards, options, and structured products.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft 365 applications.
• Right to work in Ireland is required.
• Employment permit sponsorship is not available, including Critical Skills, General, Intra-Company Transfer, and Stamp 1G permissions.

Nice to have

• Experience with complex investment funds, alternative investment structures, or synthetic ETFs.
• Knowledge of collateral management, valuation controls, and investment accounting processes.
• Familiarity with GIO, Omnium, or equivalent investment accounting platforms.
• Experience with Power BI, Power Automate, VBA, Python, or similar automation and data analysis tools.
• Relevant business, finance, or financial services qualification, or progress toward one.
