Fund Accountant

Location: Remote - Kilkenny, Ireland; flexible hybrid working is also available.

What you will do

• Support accounting activities, including investor reports, statutory financial statements, reconciliations, and ad-hoc investor requests.
• Build client relationships through regular calls and correspondence.
• Complete routine audit queries and support company secretarial filings for regulatory bodies.
• Prepare bank reconciliations and maintain transaction documentation, bookkeeping records, and Excel working papers.
• Assist with direct and indirect tax returns, internal control procedures, and fund administration processes.
• Support the induction, integration, and training of junior staff.

Requirements

• Foundational accounting knowledge and the ability to produce accurate, high-quality work.
• Ability to prepare and reconcile financial records, reports, tax returns, and bank transactions.
• Ability to maintain accurate company-system records and Microsoft Excel working papers.
• Willingness to collaborate with clients, colleagues, auditors, and regulatory stakeholders.
• Open-minded, data-driven approach with a willingness to learn and adapt.
