TL;DR
Senior Windows & Virtualization Engineer (L3) (Windows Server/Nutanix): Operating Windows infrastructure, virtualization platforms, and managed services environments for 30–40 client organisations with an accent on Active Directory, Nutanix clusters, and infrastructure reliability. Focus on building and operating a production Nutanix environment, automating recurring tasks, managing ITIL changes, and troubleshooting complex L2/L3 incidents.
Location: Hybrid in Sofia; candidates must reside in Bulgaria and work from Bulgaria only.

Managed services work for a global technology company running infrastructure for 30–40 client organisations.
What you will do
- Resolve L2/L3 incidents, problems, and service requests across Windows Server infrastructure for multiple client environments.
- Administer Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, file services, and infrastructure services; patch and harden Windows Server estates.
- Operate and troubleshoot Nutanix clusters using AOS, AHV, Prism Central, and LCM, including capacity and performance management.
- Support VMware vSphere and Hyper-V environments and help build and operate a production Nutanix environment with Calm, Flow, and Nutanix Kubernetes.
- Plan and execute ITIL changes, manage vendor support cases, and perform health checks, capacity reviews, backup verification, and documentation updates.
- Automate recurring tasks with PowerShell, Ansible, or Nutanix Calm and record work in ServiceNow.
Requirements
- 5+ years of hands-on Windows Server administration at L3 level in an enterprise, data-centre, or managed services environment.
- Expert knowledge of Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- 3+ years of hands-on Nutanix experience with AOS/AHV, Prism Central, LCM upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Experience with VMware vSphere or Hyper-V, plus PowerShell scripting and ITIL processes using ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM tool.
- Fluent English at C1 level is required.
- Residence in Bulgaria, work from Bulgaria only, participation in standby rotation, and security vetting are required.
Nice to have
- Experience with Nutanix Calm/Self-Service, Flow, Nutanix Kubernetes Platform, or general Kubernetes.
- Nutanix or Microsoft certifications and existing NATO or national security clearance.
- Ansible, enterprise backup tools such as Veeam or HYCU, and Linux basics.
- Experience supporting several client environments simultaneously.
