Financial Relationship Banker

Location: Cottage Grove, MN, United States; office-based

Salary: $22.00–$34.00 hourly, plus eligibility for an incentive compensation plan

What you will do

• Retain and grow consumer and business customer relationships by identifying financial goals and needs.
• Recommend deposit, loan, and other banking products and services.
• Provide excellent customer service and resolve customer issues.
• Develop relationships through appointments, referrals, follow-up programs, and internal partnerships.
• Educate customers on online, mobile, and ATM banking technology.
• Follow operational, security, risk, and regulatory policies and procedures.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least one year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, goal-driven retail sales, business-to-business sales, or a comparable military administration, contracting, or civil affairs role.
• Ability to complete additional background checks and provide fingerprints as required by NMLS regulations.
• Applicants must already be authorized to work full-time in the United States.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, relationship-building ability, and comfort with mobile and online banking technology.
• Knowledge of consumer and business deposit products is required as a preferred qualification.

Nice to have

• Bachelor's degree.
• At least one year of customer service and sales experience in banking, financial services, retail, or business-to-business sales.
• Knowledge of banking, sales, investments, consumer lending, business banking, and business lending.
