Community & Events Programme Intern (Southern Europe)

Location: In person at the Barcelona Support Hub, Spain. Full-time internship for 6–7 months starting December 1, 2026.

hirify.global operates a hybrid hospitality concept combining accommodation, coworking, events, community spaces, gyms, and food and beverage venues across Europe.

What you will do

• Connect on-site Event and Community Managers with programming managers and handle event organisation requests.
• Attend community events and activations in Southern Europe, audit execution, and provide bi-monthly insights.
• Support the curation of the events strategy and ambassador programme.
• Track deadlines, take notes, and prepare monthly event reports and highlights for the Membership team.
• Research market offerings and competitor propositions.
• Assist with the development, communication, and refinement of events and membership projects.

Requirements

• Must be enrolled at a university throughout the entire internship period.
• Fluent English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
• Legally permitted to work and live in Barcelona, Spain.
• Available for a full-time internship and able to work 40 hours per week.
• Able to work in person from the Barcelona-based Support Hub.
• Proven experience with Microsoft Suite, a strong understanding of event management processes, problem-solving capabilities, independence, and an entrepreneurial mindset.
