Social Media Community Manager Internship (Gamedev)

Location: Onsite in Barcelona, Spain. A university internship agreement (convenio de prácticas) is required.

hirify.global is a Barcelona-based mobile game studio, part of Zynga & Take-Two Interactive, behind hits like Dragon City, Two Dots, Top Troops, and Monster Legends.

What you will do

• Be the main point of contact with Discord moderators and own day-to-day server operations: publishing content, monitoring activity, handling escalations, and reporting.
• Manage the social media content calendar across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and more.
• Join content planning sessions and contribute ideas.
• Engage with players across all channels and flag issues, potential crises, and emerging trends.
• Track platform and competitor evolution and suggest new approaches.

Requirements

• High level of English, written and spoken (working language)
• Currently enrolled in a university degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or related field, with a university internship agreement (convenio de prácticas)
• Proficiency in Discord as a user — the core of the role; active in gaming servers is a strong signal
• Strong communication skills and a good eye for content
• Genuine interest in social media and trends

Nice to have

• Experience as a moderator in gaming or online communities
• Fluency in additional languages
