Social Media Community Manager Internship (Gamedev)

What you will do

• Coordinate with Discord moderators across gaming servers.
• Manage daily Discord operations, including publishing content, monitoring activity, handling escalations, and reporting on server activity.
• Suggest actions and improvements to keep players active and engaged.
• Own the social media content calendar and schedule posts across Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, X, and other channels.
• Engage with players, identify emerging trends and potential crises, and contribute ideas during content planning.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a university degree in Communication, Marketing, Journalism, Digital Media, or a related field.
• A university internship agreement (convenio de prácticas) is required.
• High level of written and spoken English; English is the working language.
• Proficiency with Discord as a user, preferably with experience in gaming communities.
• Strong communication skills, content awareness, and genuine interest in social media trends.

Nice to have

• Experience moderating gaming or online communities.
• Fluency in additional languages.
