Consultant Data Engineer (AI)

What you will do

• Design and manage cloud architectures and services across GCP, AWS, and Azure, including storage, compute, cost optimization, access management, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Containerize and orchestrate applications with Docker and Kubernetes, including clusters adapted to data science workloads.
• Develop Python server-side tools, including bulk data processing, REST APIs, authentication, and related services.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and support deployment of data science projects for clients.
• Develop ETL scripts in Big Data environments and implement infrastructure and services for machine learning models.
• Work on client projects and hirify.global's own AI solutions with the French Data Engineering team.

Requirements

• Master's degree with a strong quantitative component, such as econometrics, physics, mathematics, statistics, or quantitative finance.
• 1–3 years of relevant experience in data, DevOps, cloud, or software engineering.
• Strong Python skills, knowledge of another programming language, and experience with SQL databases; PostgreSQL is preferred.
• Experience or strong interest in cloud platforms, Docker, CI/CD, Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with application security, including certificate management, HTTPS, OAuth2 authentication, and credential management.
• Excellent English, Dutch, and French verbal and written skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with MongoDB, Terraform, GitLab CE, or multiple cloud services within one project.
• Existing knowledge of Kubernetes and machine learning infrastructure.
