Associate Collections Specialist (Accounts Receivable)

What you will do

• Manage a portfolio of assigned accounts receivable accounts.
• Identify and resolve issues that delay payments or affect customer satisfaction.
• Meet or exceed assigned collection targets and research unapplied payments.
• Review contracts, orders, and invoices to reconcile accounts and resolve customer disputes.
• Follow up on accounts and maintain accurate, timely collection notes and reports.

Requirements

• 1–2 years of experience managing a collections or accounts receivable portfolio.
• Strong organization, attention to detail, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to remain calm in stressful situations.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to work flexible hours when required and collaborate with peers and leadership.

Nice to have

• Exposure to NetSuite, Salesforce, Great Plains, or similar systems.
