TL;DR
Network Engineer (L2) (Enterprise Networking): Operating and troubleshooting multi-vendor networks across 15–20 client environments with an accent on switching, routing, load balancing, firewalls, and data-centre infrastructure. Focus on resolving complex L2 incidents, executing controlled network changes, supporting vendor escalations, and maintaining reliable services across distributed client environments.
Location: Hybrid in Sofia; candidates must be resident in Bulgaria and able to work from Bulgaria only.

What you will do
- Resolve L2 network incidents and service requests across multiple client environments.
- Operate and troubleshoot switching and routing, including VLANs, STP, LACP, OSPF, BGP, and VRFs.
- Administer Aruba and HPE Comware infrastructure, including wireless controllers and access points.
- Operate F5 BIG-IP load balancers and manage FortiGate and Check Point firewall policies, NAT, and VPN troubleshooting.
- Support Mellanox/InfiniBand data-centre fabrics, execute changes and firmware upgrades, and maintain configuration backups.
- Manage vendor TAC cases, update network documentation and diagrams, and record work in ServiceNow.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on L2 network operations experience in an enterprise, data-centre, or managed services environment.
- Strong switching and routing fundamentals, including VLANs, STP, LACP, OSPF, and/or BGP.
- Hands-on experience with at least two of Aruba, HPE Comware, F5 BIG-IP, FortiGate, and Check Point.
- Experience with firewall policies, VPN troubleshooting, ITIL processes, and ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM tool.
- Good English, written and spoken, at B2+ level.
- Residence in Bulgaria, ability to work from Bulgaria only, and willingness to participate in the standby rotation.
Nice to have
- CCNA/CCNP, Aruba ACSA/ACSP, F5 201, Fortinet NSE 4, or Check Point CCSA certification.
- Mellanox/InfiniBand experience.
- Network automation with Python or Ansible.
- Wireless design or troubleshooting experience.
- Experience supporting multiple client environments simultaneously.
