Delivery AI Data Engineer

Location: São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, including surrounding areas within a 150 km radius

What you will do

• Design, develop, and deliver data solutions for consulting and hirify.global X projects.
• Adapt data engineering solutions to client needs, from prototypes to enterprise-grade systems.
• Build and optimize ETL processes across different systems.
• Use Big Data tools and frameworks to meet project requirements.
• Lead analytics modules, define outcomes with partner teams, and communicate insights clearly.
• Mentor junior team members, share learnings, and improve technical best practices.

Requirements

• Professional experience in data engineering across various industries, with a record of delivering analytics solutions in commercial environments.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL.
• Experience with relational databases such as PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MariaDB.
• Experience with NoSQL databases, distributed data systems such as Spark or Hadoop, and at least one cloud platform: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree.
• Fluency in Portuguese and English.

Nice to have

• Experience with data orchestration tools such as Airflow, Data Factory, Glue, Prefect, or Dagster.
• Experience with data visualization, data modeling, containerization, streaming frameworks, or Azure Data Lake Storage.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Looker, Snowflake, Docker, Kubernetes, Kafka, or star-schema modeling.
